I listened to other reviewers and bought a half size larger than normal. Certainly glad I did. I'm still in the breaking in period, but believe I am going to enjoy these shoes. I was looking for a pair of shoes to help combat plantar fasciitis and these were recommended. Thought they were clunky looking but was to the point that I didn't really care. Actually, they are kind of cute in a coyote ugly way

Great! I am on my feet all day in my job. My legs, knees, and hips are NOT killing me at the end of the day. The best part is I can still get out at the end of the day and take a nice walk. GO MBT

Run a full size smaller than other shoes, so order accordingly. Very comfortable for about 6 hours of being on my feet non-stop, walking and running in a very busy ER. More than 6 hours and my arches begin to feel sore, maybe b/c I have flat feet and MBTs have more arch support than I am used to having. However, my MBTs have made me the envy of everyone in the ER, despite the fact that they are hardly beautiful.

I hesitated for a couple of years of spending the money for MBTs, but had a leg and knee problem and was hoping it would help. Since I am 77 years old, I also worried that I would have a hard time walking in them. I have no problem walking, but do have a problem of standing, especially on a slant or uneven ground. I do think they have helped my knees and legs, but will hold my opinion until I have worn them a few more months. I have worn them a month now, with not too much problem.
